Hiking the Lake Walchsee area

Swimming lake Walchsee

Lake Walchsee, with its consistent temperature of 24 °C, is the warmest lake in Tyrol. The lake’s excellent water quality makes it ideal for a wide range of water activities.

Climbing and adventure

Equipped with a climbing harness and carabiners, you can scale the rocks on one of three fixed-rope climbing routes in the climbing arena Kaiserwinkl in Walchsee. If you are ready for an adventure, try the high rope course in Kössen – it’s an experience for the whole family.

Cycling in Kaiserwinkl

Cyclists and mountain bikers can look forward to well-signposted routes and excellent riding conditions between Kössen, Walchsee, Schwendt and Rettenschöss.

In the Kaiserwinkl area, ambitious golfers and keen beginners alike can choose from three spectacular 9 or 18-hole golf courses, one of which even crosses the border of Bavaria and Tyrol.
